Cleansing balm hands
Step 1: Makeup Removal + Skin Assessment

We start our Vitamin C Blast facial by removing any trace of makeup. We introduce steam to help to soften our Blood Orange Cleansing Balm, then massage it into the skin for three minutes for a thorough meltdown of makeup, dirt, and debris. After we’ve removed the balm with a hot towel, we’ll perform a skin analysis to learn what skin type you have. We’ll assess any present skin conditions, and recommend a home skin care routine suitable for your specific skin care needs.

Step 2: Deep Cleansing

Next we cleanse with our Fermented Rice Water Cleanser, which helps to brighten the skin. We perform a luxurious cleansing routine that is much, much more than you’d normally do at home! This deep cleansing includes elements of facial massage and lymphatic drainage to reduce puffiness. This treatment is finished with another hot towel to wipe away the cleanser.

Step 3: Hydra Blast

Perhaps the most exciting element of our curated 100% PURE™ Vitamin C Blast facial is our Hydra Blast facial procedure. Often used in Korean skin spas, Hydra Blast is similar to microdermabrasion. Instead of leaving skin sensitive and dry, this facial routine saturates your skin with hydration by pushing our organic green tea and hyaluronic acid solution into the skin.

At the same time this treatment vacuums impurities, dead skin cells, blackheads, and debris from pores. It will leave your skin feeling and looking refreshed, glowing, and exfoliated.

Step 4: Vitamin C Mask

The next step in our process is the vitamin C mask. This mask is composed of 1,500 mg of fresh, pure, stabilized vitamin C. Vitamin C helps to increase collagen and elastin production, as well as brighten and even skin tone.

While the mask is on, our estheticians perform a soothing massage on your shoulders and decollete. Before removing the vitamin C mask, we steam the skin and massage the product into your skin for 3 minutes. Steaming helps to liquify the vitamin C and facilitate absorption.

Step 5: LED Treatment

Next we’ll perform a 15 minute LED treatment on your skin. LED light colors can be specifically selected for your skin type:

Blue: produces an oxygen that kills acne causing bacteria, calms irritated skin, reduces inflammation, and helps to control sebaceous glands

Red: helps to target cells beneath the skin, encouraging them to boost collagen. It also helps to kill bacteria, increase circulation, and can heal acne scarring

Green: fades hyperpigmentation by reducing melanin producing cells, and calms the skin

Amber/Yellow: aids in reduction of redness, spider veins, and sensitive skin

Face massage
Step 6: Facial Massage

With steam on, we perform a 10 minute facial massage with the Retinol Restorative Overnight Balm. Using steam helps to facilitate the skin absorption of nutritive butters in the balm. To finish this portion of the facial, the balm is thoroughly rinsed off using a hot towel.

Step 7: Toning

During our Vitamin C Blast facial, our estheticians will apply the Fermented Rice Water Toner after facial massage. This toner quenches skin cells with hydration, while brightening the skin with natural skin-lightening ingredients sake, mulberry, and bearberry. The sake in this toner contains enzymes that help to gently exfoliate the skin to reveal a more glowy, vibrant complexion.

Step 8: Serum + Oil

Following the toner, we apply our Fermented Rice Water Serum. It contains many similar key ingredients to the toner, but is able to penetrate deeper for prolonged absorption. To help lock in vitamins and nutrients already added to skin, the esthetician will also pat a small amount of Argan Oil into your skin.

Step 9: Moisturizer

At the end of the facial there are some options for which products to use, depending on if it’s day or night. For a daytime moisturizer, we can apply our Green Tea EGCG Concentrate Cream. This medium weight moisturizer fends off environmental stressors, and offers protection against premature signs of aging from the sun.

Alternatively, in the evening we can apply the Multi-Vitamin + Antioxidants Ultra Riché PM Treatment. It’s one of our richest, most skin nourishing creams and is packed with pure potencies of skin-beneficial vitamins.

Step 10: Eye Cream

Eye cream options start with our world renowned eye treatment, the Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream. This formula can immediately help to reduce dark circles, puffiness, and dry skin around the eye area for a taut, more awakened appearance.

For evening treatments, our esthetician will recommend the Retinol PM Eye Cream to help with dark circles and fine lines.

Step 11: Sun Protection

After facial spa services, it’s important to apply sun protection. We always offer our SPF Tomato Lycopene SPF 20, and advise clients to stay out of the sun. Since retinol and vitamin c are used during the facial and can cause photosensitivity, we recommend large hats, sunglasses, and staying in the shade. If a client receives the facial in the evening, they may want to forgo the SPF, since they may not want to wash their face again before bed.

A facial treatment at one of our professional Facial Rooms is a purely luxurious experience. You’ll also get the chance to test and feel new products, to see how you like them. But, that’s not all! In addition to our facial spa treatments, we now provide waxing treatments for your brows, chin, and upper lip. That means you can knock-out your self-care day in one trip!

Getting a monthly facial is a great way to maintain your skin health, address skin concerns, and ensure that the products you’re using are what's best for your skin.
