The brush seems to be made in a way that it won't fall apart, but the bristles seem to wipe lipstick off when applying as opposed to keeping it on your lips. I tried it with several different brands and had the same result.
Retractable Lib Brush
Well, complained that I needed a brush for the lip butter tins, and I then saw this one in an add email. Just what I wanted. I like that it is retractable and small. Had a little trouble pushing the brush out the first time...seem to be stuck. A little wiggling, and a strong push it went into to place.
After I figured out from the website picture that you have to put the lid on the bottom of the brush to push it up into place, I didn't have any problems with using it. I would suggest that 100% Pure may want to consider including directions or an image to streamline this process for new purchasers. I got this brush to apply the fruit pigmented lip butter so I didn't have to put my fingers in the container. It is a good size for travel in a purse or pocket, but it is still large enough to be comfortable to use in your hand. The brush does a pretty good job in evenly applying the color of lip products, especially after you build up the product on it with a few swipes. I am considering purchasing another brush so that I have one for my vanity in the morning and one for my purse or pocket to reapply lip products during the day.
The bristles kind of absorb all my lipstick
I bought this because I love blending multiple lipstick shades together but it doesn't really transfer color from the lipstick onto my lips after swiping it onto the stick and it pulls most of the product off my lips when I put it to my lips. Using it a few times helped this issue thankfully. I do like it and I'll still use it but I'm a little afraid of washing it with anything but water because I feel like it would become super absorbant again like it was right out of the package. A less porous bristle design would make this the most perfect little brush.
