Too thick and not a good match.
A bit thicker than I expected and the color wasn’t a good match. I’m typically a peach bisque but not in this formula. I find the B.B. cream, in the 20 shade, best suited for me.
Noy for very oily skin
I was very excited to try an all natural foundation after attempting to gradually make the switch. I selected Bamboo Blur after reading all of the reviews. I have very oily skin, blemishes, redness and some age spot, but don't want a heavy foundation. Bamboo Blur sounded perfect when used with the mattifying primer and Bamboo Blur powder. First off, I noticed that the Sand color appeared orange on my skin and streaky when I used my beauty blender. The following day I tried it using a fountain brush. It looked far less streaky but still had an orange tint. I decided to give it a try and wore it to work. Less than 5 hours later and I was an ily mess. The foundation was "clumpy" around my nose and above my eyebrows. Definitely NOT the look I was going for! I wouldn't recommend this foundation for very oily skin types. I'm looking forward to trying other 100% Pure products.
Sorry to hear this foundation didn't work for you, Alison! We definitely want to help you find the right formula. Keep an eye on your inbox for a message from our Customer Service Team. :)
Feels light and clean, good coverage.
I really like the feel of this makeup. I ordered sand, which is a shade or two darker than what I need. After reading the blog about how to choose a foundation, there is a description of each shade for each type of makeup which was helpful. My skin tends to be very sensitive, so the makeup seems to make my pores more pronounced. I am going to try one of the powder foundations because my skin seems to do better with those. Otherwise, I love the ingredients and I feel really good about absorbing them into my skin!
This foundation has been excellent for the cold winter days. I have sensitive skin, and it will dry out easily when cold weather hits, and this has helped to keep my skin moisturized and soft. I use it with the Bamboo Blur Powder, so it has a matte finish and doesn't look as dewy, but that is personal preference. It also wears well throughout the day!
I recently purchased this foundation in "SAND" but realized it isnt my color. I am normally a "WHITE PEACH"; therefore I had to return the product. Wish I could have keep it because the consistency and the quality of the foundation was AMAZING. Ended up purchasing a different type of 100% Pure foundation in the white peach instead but will definitely purchase this one as soon as the other one runs out :) highly recommend!
