The texture of the body butter is different than normal lotion. When you scoop some out of the tub, it helps if you let it dissolve a little in your hand for easier application. But it smells terrific and your skin feels really soft. My only complaint is the aroma doesn't last for very long, it becomes very, very faint after 10-15 minutes.

the butter is very hard and thick. I love thick butter creams but this is very difficult to use. I know if I have to warm it before using it.

I was not to sure how this body butter was going to work out as some of the reviews were not positive. I have to say I think the product is great! When your first scoop it out of the jar the butter is very thick and grainy, however when you work it and "melt"it between your hands the product goes on smooth and is very moisturizing.
I love it and would recommend it to anyone with really dry skin!!!
